There is one candidate who can handle that battle. and come out the winner. His name is Duncan Hunter.

Time to give up on Hunter. He isn't running an effective campaign, and he isn't going anywhere this year. Perhaps his son will have better luck inheriting the congressional seat.

I sent him more money today, and will continue to do so. What are you doing to help his campaign - besides criticizing and complaining? He is the best man running; why would you discourage others from taking up the slack and helping him get elected?

Just to refresh your memory -- John Kerry was running at 4% in December of 2003, exactly where Hunter is in the latest CNN poll... The NATIONAL polling has more utility in shaping public opinion than in measuring it - and I fear you've fallen prey to it. The primary process, OTOH, takes place at the local level.

Now... how about helping instead of complaining? We need more helpers and fewer complainiers - let's get busy! :-)

>It’s time to give up on Hunter.<

People are tired of Madison Avenue phony slickness. They want a gutsy guy with the right answers, the courage of his convictions, and the conservative voting record to stand on.

You just ain’t seen nuthin’ yet! Hunter is on CNN with Glenn Beck for an hour tomorrow. Finally the exposure he deserves. And he’ll be buying TV spots in Iowa this month, too. As hidden and ignored as he has been by the MSM, he’s up to 4% and rising! When people get a gander at the real McCoy tomorrow, his rating will hit unexpected heights! :)
