Stylistically, there is no comparison between a Sienna minivan and the GMC Acadia; the Acadia wins running away, imho.

That's what caught my eye. It is a very popular car now. Compared to the Sienna it is pricey but I like GM products for safety.

If you’re really more in the market for a minivan, and need the sliding doors and the lower floor, I’d honestly go for the Honda Odyssey, because it’s the resale leader as far as minivans go.

I've heard that too. I just don't like their history of transmission problems. I'd only buy it with the extended warantee.

I’ve understood that the transmission problems were more of an issue with the previous generation, and not so much with the current, 08 model. But, this is second hand, so I’m not certain. My next door neighbor bought a new Ody, and loves it. She traded a fullsize Ford Expedition for it.

I can’t say anything bad about my Acadia right now, but I’ve only had it a few months. The only thing to happen so far has been a broken lumbar support, repaired under warranty. That’s not too bad in my experience.
