We Alaskans aught to succeed, convert on mass to islam and declare jihad on the USA. It is apparently easier and more politically correct for Americans to send their petrodollars to people that hate them!

If states were allowed to secede, then there would already be drilling in the ANWR. The rest of the country wouldn't try to force their silly irrational ideals on a single state, if that state could vote to leave the Union.
