The Clinton Camp has so many trial ballons in the air at once they are running them into high tension lines.
She played the gender card, then backed off when she caught flack only to try the same hand again in a local yokle version of it at Weseley (all the while trying to back away from the gender card nationally). That might have worked in the old days with a hide-covering media and no blogasphere. But those are the old days. Today local is international via the internet. Weseley words are heard...well all the way to China.
They also tried to trash Russert. and that not only did not work well but it also got the media ticked off at her. I think that is why they are actually not 100% lock step at the moment. They want the Waar Room to know they can dictate agendas but not kill their saints.
I think that they are slowly but surely getting the media ticked at them. The head honchos at the media will not enjoy being threatened by them during the election cycle. Matthews has turned on her-many more will follow.
Hillary is committing political suicide so efficiently, it's almost a shame for us to help her.
The entire Hillary camp is in "Oh My God, Wadda We Do Next" mode. She has 700 people working for her and they still can't come up with a script to Save Hillary's Backside.
It was a laugh when she went to Wellsely the day after her debate flop----as if nothing happened. Now she's incommunicado---trying to dig herself out.
Betcha the debate flop affected her fund-raising and public appearances scheduling.
As for the $$$---she and Bill will launder some of their offshore money---then use ID theft to makeup a bunch of "consributors" for the FEC---to make voters think she's still The One.
