Staunch Conservatism will NOT go away, and it will not be redefined (sorry Rush) no matter who is the President for the next four to eight years.

However, I believe that if it came down to Rudy or Hillary, the preservation of conservatism as a political force in America stands a much better chance of surviving a Giuliani presidency than a Clinton co-presidency.

The Clintons will EVISCERATE the electoral process. What do you think the thrust for drivers licenses for illegals is for? The thrust of the “felons may vote” movement? The thrust to circumvent the Electoral College? Socialized medicine?

All designed to bar the White House from conservatives for generations to come, or as long as this country may survive as a Democratic Republic.

Staying home is not making a statement, imho, it is mass suicide for Conservatism. We CAN return to true conservatism after a Giuliani presidency - especially if his running mate is a Duncan Hunter type.

Not so any other way, I fear. Beat Rudy in the primaries, please. But do not let the White House fall into the clutches of the Clintons.

Where are you Fred Thompson!?! Why are you allowing yourself to be marginalized? Stand up and speak out!

Wrong analogy. When a husband goes on a business-trip fling with a loose multi-abortion woman, while the wife "stays home," it's not the fault of the woman for "staying home." The husband had the choice to bring his wife along for the trip, and leave Iabort My Babies at home.

Yes, reconciliation can occur after a separation. But let's keep it clear as to which party is trying to dissolve the relationship.

once rudy wins he will be the default candidate for the next election. That’s 8 years of rudy vs only 4 years of hillary, who will be another carter.

In 2016?! After Giuliani has moved the party to the left and entrenched the GOP in the same minority it was in before Reagan took office? If Giuliani survived eight years, his liberal policies would likely result in a Democrat taking over anyway.

Putting Giuliani in office sets back the conservative movement 10 to 20 years.

A Hillary Presidency sets the stage for another Reagan or '94 revolution with in four years.
