There is nothing about the Bobby Jindal win in Louisiana that should fool anyone. Not even the fact that he did it in the first primary. Intelligent Louisianians voted for Jindal four years ago, but the political machines in New Orleans hauled minorities to the polls and told them to vote for Kathleen Blanco. Probably compensated them too. \

Hurricane Katrina exposed her incompetence not only to the people of Louisiana but to the entire nation. This time the minorities were not in New Orleans in sufficient numbers to allow the Dems to steal the election even if they had run a suitable candidate.

Now we are looking forward to retiring Mary Landrieu to the roll of full time homemaker in her million dollar Georgetown mansion in DC. She has never been in touch with the people of Louisiana that work for a living. She will be defeated without the thousands of minority votes no longer in New Orleans.

"She will be defeated without the thousands of minority votes no longer in New Orleans."

But don't most of them now live in Baton Rouge?

Re#28 Yep. Spot on. Voter ID would do the same all over...
