I work at Kennedy Space Center, we can’t always see it but the weather is so beautiful here today we were able to watch most of the last turn and then continuosly from about 5000 ft to almost touchdown (it gets below the tree line just before torchdown) Fantastic landing!

1:16 p.m. - Inside Discovery, the astronauts are going through the standard checklist while, outside the orbiter, the landing convoy team continues work to “safe” the vehicle. It’s been 15 minutes since landing.
