Bottom line here is this: There isn't another candidate in the field that has put as much effort and energy into winning. That kind of energy attracts people. That's the kind of energy Reagan gave off. That's the kind of energy that wins elections.
The formula is very simple. If you want people to vote for you, ask them. It was said that Evangelicals would never vote for a Mormon. And this sentiment was not without merit. Evangelicals and Mormons do not see eye to eye on much of anything. And yet, several prominent Evangelicals have now endorsed Mitt Romney. Why? Because he's the only candidate who has gone to them and personally asked for their support. He worked for it and then followed up his words with sincere action. That too does not go unnoticed.
One of the best examples of this winning hustle that Romney is showing happened just recently. Not long ago, Mitt Romney won the straw poll at the Values Voters Summit with Gov. Huckabee making a strong showing in second. Some, including Gov. Huckabee, complained that Romney had won by "unfairly" taking advantage of the Summit's allowance of Internet voting to win the poll, despite the fact that this option was available to all the candidates to use. Romney was apparently the only candidate who saw all of his legal options and used them all to his fullest advantage. Isn't that what winners do? Use all available avenues, within the rules, to win? Mitt Romney has clearly demonstrated, through word and deed, that he is in this to win. That is the kind of person we need at the head of the ticket if we want to defeat the Liberals in this next election. Someone with ideas, vision, experience, and a strong will to win combined with all out effort.
Those look like pretty good ads Romney is running.

Romney is a hardworking liberal. Got it.
Romney = 70s slick used car salesman.
Not a Romney supporter, but I have a feeling he’s going to get the nomination. He seems to have laid out a strategy and is doing the hard work of completing it. If he wins the early states, with his funding, he could roll to victory.
