I guess that I am not pro illegal, like some people are.

No, but you are a moron. Romney isn't legally responsible for this - the employer is. He's probably going to jail or going to get fined heavily. The truth is Romney was told that they were legal by the employer, and and the employer was legal, and some of the workers were also legal. None of the people working on the lawn worked for him personally and there was high turnover among the laborers according to the Boston Globe story.

This effort to mystify the natural ability to identify a poor, uneducated, government and taxes avoiding third world foreigner just doesn’t fly with those of us that have been doing it since childhood.

Gosh, you are just so damn talented. Maybe you can get a job with ICE. Because a third world, uneducated legal looks a lot like a third world, uneducated illegal, especially when you don't talk to them and only see them in passing when you are busy running a large corporation or a state.

You will never convert me to your pro illegal position, nor convince me that it is beyond mortal man’s ability to decide to only hire Americans for long term employment.

“Even as Romney travels the country, vowing to curb the flood of low-skilled illegal immigrants into the United States, some of those workers maintain his own yard, cutting grass, pruning shrubs, and mulching trees.”

“Reporters tracked down four current and former employees of the company at their homes in Chelsea and in Guatemala. All had landscaped Romney’s property while working for Community Lawn Service with a Heart, and their tenure ranged from one worker who had joined the company just a month ago to another who had worked there 10 years. The workers said they found the jobs at the landscaping company through other Guatemalan immigrants after arriving in Chelsea.”

“The workers who had landscaped Romney’s property seemed unaware of the governor’s support for stricter controls on illegal immigration. Several described casual encounters with Romney over the years and said he had never expressed any curiosity about their status.”

“Of the four interviewed, only one said he was in the United States legally, “

“The one legal Guatemalan immigrant interviewed by the Globe, who has done work at the Romney property numerous times, has been a constant presence at the landscaping company. But he said Saenz regularly hired illegal workers to work alongside him.”
