What did Mitt do while governor of MA to stop sanctuary cities in his own state? Did he ever speak out about it, then?
I’d like to see where his roots lie on this issue.

When I was in Boston, Mitt Romney did take a stand against illegals but that was a while ago and I have forgotten the exactly what it was. At the time it never occurred to me that the government would push something like amnesty and Dream Act. Rudolph Giuliani, however, recently said he opposes deportation and that the wall in not the answer. I heard it.

Willard gave specific instructions to state police to co-operate with ICE/INS and detain illegals for being illegal.
See the lefty cop whine about it here.
He had no idea the people handling his lawn were illegals. The people he hired weren't illegal - the people THEY hired were illegal. It's a pretty cheap shot. I mean - go to a restaurant and tell me 100% certain your meal wasn't made by an illegal (assuming you are in a major metro area).
Regarding the Sanc cities in his own state - I'd like to see that answered, too. I'm not sure what options he would have to cut off social services because there aren't massive grants that a state hands out to cities in the same way that feds do.
