To: secret garden

Actually boomers are from 1946-1955. After that is the Jonesers Generation to 1965, then the Gen Xers. Today’s 40-somethings don’t really share any of their cultural upbringing with someone in their 60s.

I never heard of the Jonesers. Is that like keeping up with?

My son is 43 and I am 63 and he and I share the same values and concepts and so does his girlfriend which makes it nice. I guess we are the odd couple.

It's from the term "jonesing for" or wanting something, like the Cheech and Chong Basketball Jones song since they claim we still have unrealized dreams.
You're odd in a nice way. :-)
