How tiresome these so-called "artists" are!

“If you’re listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you’re a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we’re morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal.”
- Alice Cooper

Henley jumped the snark when he trashed Reagan in the “End of Innocence”

Henley was a butt-wipe since day one but I though Frey might have been alright - I liked his celebration of leaving the Eagles with “Party Town.” But I guess he’s one too.

Didn't like them 30 years ago, still don't like them today. If you had to listen to them in the 70's, you are not required to have to listen to them today.
Maybe the Justice Dept. should had them to the list of possible torture techniques.

They did a moderately right-wing song called Get Over It back in the '90's.

I liked the Desperado album and not much beyond that.

I was actually exctited about this album, but now I am going to send it back to the record company demanding a refund - I know I won't get one, but it will be worth it.
A piece of garbage.

Putting the lyrics aside, the music and recording quality is among the very best. I like the CD set. I am perfectly capable of bypassing any un-American songs. I do that on my radio all the time.

The Eagles new album is trash. And a double CD set of trash at that. Don’t waste your money. It’s not the old Eagles, it’s the OLD Eagles..............

Henleys an idiot! too much nose candy.A rather common affliction among 60's and 70's rockers who were fortunate enough not to choke on their own vomit.

Darn, I just bought this album yesterday at Wal*Mart ... I didn’t know all this “stuff” about the album or I’d have never touched it. So, bought and paid for, never opened, and into the trash it goes. Shame on me parting with $11 to “support” this nonsense. Wish I’d have known earlier.
