As has America, and every country.

And anti-semitism historically was a preserve of the upper classes(’the Cliveden Set’).Barring the neo-nazi/BNP idiots, native British anti-semitism is almost unknown.Most of it comes from the more extreme Mulsim elements.

In fact,ought,the last figures I saw had a higher US rise in anti-semitism than the UK.But that hardly makes you a bigoted nation...

Britain’s history re: the Jews is pretty poor (it goes back before the so-called Mandate that decreed British control of the territory, which, you have to admit, was pretty sordid). Britain, historically, has not been very tolerant of Jews (but, in all candor, neither has most of Europe). No country in history — other than Israel itself — has been more welcoming to Jews than America. True, we have our anti-semites, moreso since we’ve allowed moslem immigration. But, per capita, ours are far fewer than anywhere else (again, Israel excepted).
