Kentuckians have heard about Giuliani’s accomplishments- leading the city when the Twin Towers were bombed, reducing crime to lower levels than anyone imagined, bringing the city out of bankruptsy, fostering economic growth. They see someone who knows how to get positive things done, even if they don’t agree with him on every issue.
Agreed on your points. I think that focus on his accomplishments will be a consistent pattern throughout the South...I saw the same results in Alabama polling as well.
