ABC News' Jan Simmonds reports: With an Elvis impersonator crooning just two floors below him, Rudy Giuliani, R-N.Y., took aim on Friday at both Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and her husband, former President Bill Clinton.
Speaking at a town hall in Berlin, New Hampshire, Giuliani first set his sights on Hillary Clinton and used humor to answer a question about Clinton's much analyzed debate response on whether she supported a plan to grant driver's licenses to illegal aliens in New York state.
"Oh gee I can't figure out what to think," said Giuliani satirizing Clinton.
"Don't pick on me by asking that question. That's a gotcha question. Do not pick on me for asking that question. Now let me see what I think
. Let me see
First put up your hands and tell me what you think. Then I'll tell you what I think. Are you for it or against it? Ok, you're not gonna tell me. So I'm for it, for it. I am against it. I'm for it and against it. And I wanna be your president."

Thats not where he had his head.
I almost lost my breakfast on this one:
“Di, your comments about Hillary ring hollow in light of the far more egregious crimes of your hero, Geoge W (W for waterboarding) Bush. Phony war, bankrupt economy, outsourced and laid off jobs, galloping corruption, oil price and food price inflation, infrastructure left to rot for the last 7 years...the list goes on and on, and you want to parse whatever you think is wrong with Hillary? Even if she were corrupt, and I’m not saying I approve of corruption in her anymore than I do in Bush...but even if she were, all of her misdeeds (alleged or real) combined would add up to sainthood in comparison to those of your hypocritical neo-con leaders.”
These people are absolulely delusional. All those things listed are “facts” in this person’s pea brain
The real conservatives in our Party ought to jump on this and hammer it home on a daily basis.
No, the REAL conservatives in our party will toss Rudy out along with any other liberal RINOs. Then in November we can reject Hillary.
Rudy is using the tactic of going after the dem candidate as if he has already won the nomination rather than going after his GOP opponents ( which he can’t because they are more conservative than he ever will be/is)
“For whatever you think of Giuliani he engaged in the most effective way to minimize a political opponent and that is holding them up to ridicule.”
The Witch is so humorless and rigidly self-righteous that humor is a particularly effective way to puncture her baloon. Rudy did a great job.
Exactly! Every time Rudy is up against a real conservative, he is uncovered for the true liberal snake that he is. His campaign strategy is to repeatedly attack Hillary, even though she will clean his clock.
Tommy, if you truly believe that the right wing conservatives are indeed the majority of the party and can pull that off, my hat's off to you. Honestly. I just don't know where you get the proof that is the case.
Do you work out in the field? Can you give me some anecdotal evidence for your assertion? I know how the 2006 election has been spun to say that, but that's not proof. My data says something very different.
My question to you is posed in a respecful and civil tone..as is my intent. I sincerely want to know why you guys think the above scenario will happen.
Rudy is on dangerous ground when he slams Hillary for pandering to illegals.
Once again, the media ignores the fact that he has always pandered to illegals.
His policies on illegal immigration is the same as GWB.
Another reason to reject him unless we want a continuation of the failed and wildly rejected Bush policy.
It’s a simple formula. Take all the non-Rudy voters and total them up against the pro-Rudy voters. Rudy cannot top the 25% mark. If a couple of GOP candidates drop out, and they will, Rudy cannot win a majority of GOP voters. Even if, under some odd circumstances, he should gain the nomination with a mere plurality of GOP voters, he cannot count on them to vote for him in November 2008. The conservative wing will not vote for anyone who is a pro-abortion, gun-grabbing, pro illegal immigrant amnesty candidate. Period. Given a choice between only Rudy and Hillary, they will sit home and watch Hillary take the White House. The sooner the GOP realizes this, the sooner they can organize an effective candidate that will unite the party, not divide it as Giuliani would.
It would not hurt is if the Party also came out and said, “We made lot of mistakes about spending and how we handle enforcement of our laws. Give us a chance to make it right and this is our promise -!!” Then they better have a new plan worthy of getting a conservatives vote.
So, you want him to attack Republicans instead of Hillary? I'm not following.
What was strange to me was that the other GOP candidates didn't start attacking Hillary until the last debate or two -- they have let Rudy get all the credit.
Liberal RINOs are a cancer within the GOP, and must be removed if they ever expect to win another election.
Just remember - this is the most important thing -
WE MUST DEFEAT RUDY IN THE PRIMARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I am astonished how many people are absolutely BLIND to the fact that Rudy wants Santuary Cities. He is a lying weasel about his toughness, a caricature of a candidate. He can’t answer a single question without reminding us that he served in Vietnam. Oh, wait — that was John Kerry.
Rudy can’t answer a single question without reminding us that he was “in charge” in New York City on 9-11, personally fighting Al Qaeda and rescuing thousands of people from the World Trade Center. The NYFD and NYPD have a different story about Rudy.
I hope you are right. I can see compromising to get behind Fred, Duncan or Mitt. Yet all three together will split the ticket.
I can not see ever compromising to get behind:
A: Rudy Giuliani
B: John McCain
The key here is to not nominate a minority liberal GOP candidate like Giuliani or McCain. Anyone who gets the nomination with less than half the party’s voter support is a sure loser in the general election.
