Russert did the same thing with his UFO question to Kucinich. He knew pretty much how Kucinich would respond, i.e., he couldn't deny the fact that he had said that he saw a UFO. Not that it was needed, but Kucinich has pretty much been branded as a kook and no one can now watch him without hearing Twilight Zone music in the background. Russert and the Dems are hoping that Fred's weight loss will be viewed subliminally as "this man is sick."

Kucinich could have saved face with a reply that, "I not only saw a UFO, I have one as my second car," followed by, "And I don't have a Secret Service detail; those guys are from the Men In Black. But to serious business here, Timothy..."
