The next ten years are very predictable. Global warming is a theory that cannot be refuted. All evidence will point to increased global warming. If temperatures do not increase as much as hoped, studies will produce elaborate explanations about countering factors that will soon disappear. Global warming in a political sense cannot be stopped.

Hence the term CLIMATE CHANGE has been adopted by all media outlets! Global Warming was too specific and had to be scrapped because the scam could not continue when things start cooling off.

If you remember back in the 80’s all the no nuke people lost their identity when the cold war ended and Reagan started eliminating nukes...These people lived and breathed nuke protests.
So they needed a place for these lost hippies to park their empty souls....
They tried “Save the whales” Then all the whales got saved... so that didnt work, so they had to devise a religion that was so large that it would affect everyone and so large that it was near impossible for the common man to know all the measureables.
So the Save the planet shtick started. Fairly easy to do, just put out the word that their is big research grant money for those that can find ( read manufacture) evidence on global warming. Guess what happens, nerdy researchers start to fudge here fudge there, then other researchers then base their research on fudged stats and TAH DAH!
you got yourself a secular religion where the “scientists” are the priests and the politicians are the Secular vatican.
If you dont play along as a scientist you do not get into a graduate program,or get grant money or make it out of your comps. Now you have locked in the subordination control.
You only have to yank a very few chains in order for the chorus to sing the song you want them to sing.
You see the same thing in communism, islam and Amway... Sorry couldnt resist that last one.... I mean cults. Although I could be redundant.

You nailed it very well. The secular progressives/ liberals/ envirofreaks have taken every scientific concern, no matter how remotely sensible or non-sensical to use as a baseball bat on everyone else as a control-freak thing, as well as a reason to tax everybody to pay for more government with more of their liberal employees running everything- as in the school systems for example. Many possibly valid concerns are probably being resisted just because the general public instinctually knows the tree-huggers want to use all issues for control reasons.
I think people are getting a sense that Global Warming is the vehicle that the Elite want to use to take them for a ride. If it wasnt global warming it would be something else.

Good article... However it’s missing a key component - the political one. Who are the people demanding that “global warming” be shoved down people’s throat... and why.
More than anything else “global warming” is a political movement - a means to an end. It’s a vehicle for the enviro-commies to control society, grab as much of your income and redistribute it as they see fit.
I know one of the authors and I can promise you that the political aspect is not forgotten in the book they have written: “Scared to Death: From BSE To Global Warming — How Scares Are Costing Us The Earth”.
