The point of the essay is that the threat of a third party is ridiculous because there is already a TRUE conservative running on the Republican ticket-Duncan Hunter.
I agree with the author 100%, everytime I hear any of the so called conservative pundits talk about the GOP, I end up screaming “What about Duncan Hunter?” If these people were true conservatives they’d be screaming his name over the airwaves. It just proves that it is all smoke and mirrors. I’ve lost respect for most of them, they are nothing more than entertainers and puppets.
Had 9/11 never happened people would be laughing at the thought of Rudy running. I will give him credit for great organizational skill AFTER the fact but that is it. He NEVER fought terrorism. Even after the WTC was attacked in ‘93, he still allowed for illegals to live comfortably in his city. Romney, he looks and talks like he should be on a soap opera. Everytime I see him I think of him playing a role on All My Children, even his given name fits the part. McCain, irrelevant, Huckabee, when they start looking at his record on illegal and taxes, no way, besides he seems very wishy washy to me. And as for Thompson, he’s OK, but I hate to think we elect a President because we are familiar with them because of a TV show. NONE can stack up to Duncan Hunter.
