I think you’re correct in how you’re reading the situation. It looks to me like there is a well thought out plan to divide the Republicans and divide conservatives so many ways, Hillary’s 50% negatives won’t make any difference.
Neutering conservative talk radio by threatening them with the Fairness Doctrine has had its effect. Nothing will happen until there is a Democrat president to sign the bill or to make a new appointment to the FCC, but it has turned most of the talkers into hypocrites without principles because they are so concerned about being unemployed they would advocate voting for Hillary if she were running as a Republican in order to keep their jobs!
The MSM is creating a constant barrage of bad news, and worse news, then polling to see if we’re getting the message that it’s hopeless and we may as well give up.
The only thing they can’t plan for is something out of left field they are unaware of that MIGHT breathe new life into the downtrodden and bring us back to life.
