The horrible graphic images of black lynching victims serve a specific political purpose. This kind of stuff is trotted out like clockwork before every major election, usually by PBS (and now CNN) to ensure the Black vote doesn't stray too far from the Liberal Plantation.
I grew up wile Jim Crow was still very much alive and its inequities, along with images of lynchings I saw in Time Magazine and elsewhere, turned me into a Civil Rights crusader long before Martin Luther King came on the scene. It's a tragedy his movement was usurped by radical Leftists and race pimps who have "enslaved" Blacks once again in the role of victims.

No kidding -- PBS is terrible about picking at the race scab. They've always got a new special on old grievances. And in my market it's year round, not just election season.
