yikes....don't get me started on that one....
I had one boss who was a real piece of work....spent an hour presenting our findings, outlined the need, identified the resources needed (30 weeks of work for two people)...clear, concise, and organized to perfection...
At the end of the meeting he got up, thanked me for the presentation, put his hand on my shoulder and stated: "looks like YOU have a lot of work a head of YOU" and than he walked out...
Little did I know he was planning on announcing his retirement in 8 weeks, and could care less if I succeeded or not....let's just say his successor was quite upset with the situation when he took over....

I don’t mind tackling big projects and the risks that go with them. I used to get promotions/bonus $ for the work. Then along came the new manager.......
I do *hate* the boss that takes the credit for my hard work. And just as quickly these toads will excoriate a worker for any perceived (or real) failures.
I have dropped out of the rat race, I now make 1/2 the dough with 1/100000000 of the aggravation.
