HEY, I thought I asked you not to talk about me on the internet.
Seriously, I am a people person, I love interaction with the public, but 5 years ago I was offered an opportunity that I financially could not pass up. It entails working out of my house. No coworkers (except those via email and telephone), no office politics, etc. I thought I would hate it. I found out instead that I absolutely love it! I don't miss any of those people you were talking about. And the coworkers that I do miss, I now get to see on my own time. Also my productivity has at least doubled. I wouldn't change it for the world.
Selling Amway or Arbonne?
Venomous back-biting snakes in the grass that never take personal responsibility and always start pointing fingers the moment something goes amiss. Our corporate office is slithering with them.
Reminds me of a response to that,
"The perfume/cologne smells great....but must you marinate in it?"
Did you ever get a sneezing attack from smelling too much of either? I have.
I feel for ya...I would lie awake nights plotting against her.
P.S.-- Did you know you can buy skunk scent in a little bottle?
We like to put doctors and nurses on the speaker phone when they call into our room. That way we can all listen in to their rants.
Thank God you didn't say:
and wears see-through skirts and dresses with no panties to cover her large...ass woollyone...
Being there.
If they could just mail me my checks and I never had to show up - I’d LOVE it!!!!
Neither, I actually do medical billing (coding) for a company that contracts out with VA Hospitals all across the US.
Out of a number of office irritants, I had four bosses during my career who caused us underlings to develop ulcers, suffer partial mental breakdowns and to undergo many sleepness nights. They were all idiots, but thought they were geniuses. I like to watch “The Office” now and then just to remind me about my four bad bosses, two of whom were as stupid as the boss in the TV show.
"Do we work in the same office?" ~ WolfRunnerWoman
Not for much longer... };^P
Google the hit show “The Office”. Every corp. type you can see in the full show videos. Just discovered this series. It’s hilarious.
Office spammers are irritating to me. These are the people who get ahold of the email group for the entire company, including the other divisions overseas, etc., and send their goofy emails about birthdays, holidays, urban legends, etc. Once we had a particularly egregious email about some scam, that caused a bunch of people to reply ‘to all’ that the so called scam was an urban legend. Shut down the email server.
“smoking breaks”
My boss went home early and didn’t want me to charge him leave since he said, “ I don’t eat lunch so use that as my time.”
I said you don’t eat lunch but you have a minimum of 4 smoke breaks a day instead of your lunch. He charged the time.
“Most irritating co-worker: One who, when you ask a simple question that should only require a 3 word answer, talks for half an hour.’
Our saying for one employee is “Why use 5 words when 50 will do.”
Anyone in a staff meeting.
Slow refresh of FR during the day.
lol ;-)
I renamed my husband’s employer’s department “INhuman Resources”. The droids that work in that department are anything but humanitarian.
