WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama, the only black candidate for president, accused rival Hillary Clinton on Friday of hiding behind her gender after she was pummelled in a debate with six male candidates.
"I am assuming and I hope that Sen. Clinton wants to be treated like everybody else," the Illinois senator said in an interview with NBC's "Today Show."

"I am assuming and I hope that Sen. Clinton wants to be treated like everybody else," the Illinois senator said in an interview with NBC's "Today Show." Lemme guess, the next line was, "only I, as a black man, can get away with that kind of cheap tactic"?

Eh, let’s be fair, Obama hasn’t really pulled the race card much... at least, if he has, I’ve missed it, and political junkie that I am, if I missed it, so did 90%+ of everyone else. At the very least, he could be playing it a whole lot more than he has, for a Democrat, and he’s certainly playing the race card less than Hillary is playing the gender card.

He was speaking a day after New York Sen. Clinton -- the only woman running for president -- urged women voters to rally behind her against "the boys club of presidential politics."Nice of the reporter to play the gender card.

What a shameful display! She did the same crap in 2000 with Rick Lazio. This is the way it works; only a fellow democrat can call her out on this childish nonsense.

Obama’s right on this. Feminist candidates, expecially Hillary, are notorious for boo-hoo-hooing that they’re being picked on when they run for office. They insist they’re as tough as any man, but the moment they’re verbally roughed up a little by a male opponent, their response is to play the poor defenseless female role.

Clinton must be going NUTS!! She can’t criticize Osamabama much without the fear of offending the blacks, without whom she nor any on the left have a prayer of winning anything (to bad the poor blacks have no clue of the power they do hold)
