"Praytell, can you elaborate on this assertion of yours?"

I'll elaborate on their assertion, though I didn't make it. I live in a small rural town full of closed down and rotting textile mills and furniture factories that have shut down in the past 12 years. We are at 30% unemployment in one of the counties nearby. I can't speak for the nation when it comes to the benefits or drawbacks of our trade policies, but it has been terrible for us here. The only time the grocery stores around here are busy is either on government check or 'food stamp' day. I make it a point to avoid stores around here on those days.

OK, sounds bad. Sounds about as sinister an image as your screen name evokes. Well, not quite.

In the mean time, Bruce Springsteen, a depreciating dollar makes American goods and services much more appealing based on price to foreign buyers.
