Suspicious package near Patrick entrance (FL)
Traffic in front of State Road A1A near Patrick Air Force Base has come to a standstill because of the discovery of a suspicious package near the truck entrance onto the base, officials said.
“We are investigating the situation with local law enforcement agencies,” said Maria Carl, spokeswoman for the base. “State Road A1A has been closed down as a precaution.”
Traffic is backed up in both directions on SR A1A.
