When Russert’s bias comes out, Fred will have to do more than address him as “Timothy” and concede different opinions. I doubt that he’s up to it really.

I'm sure Fred will do fine. He's been on the show plenty of times before, so he's very familiar with Tim Russert's style

I must agree...it will be “must see” TV event on Sunday morning. Fred is no Hillary Clinton, but you can bet Russert will try everything he can to nail him on something just to show Mrs. Clinton is is playing fair.

I'm all for Fred and I think he will do well on "Meet the Press". But, unfortunately, most Americans decide who "their candidate" is, from watching one or two debates.

Fred must do better in the debates and quit looking down and reading his notes and speak from the heart.

I say that more as a carrot on a stick for the Thompson team. Hoping that they are actually here reading this crap.

Fred did just great. He was thoughtful, articulate, Presidential, and most of all, 100% himself. He pandered to no one.

I came away with at least this one thing clear. If Fred Thompson ever does change his mind about an issue, it will be genuine and not a re-triangulation of the political trends.
