We just posted a video to YouTube that showcases an effort by Move America Forward to deliver Coffee, Cookies and more to our troops.
Please rate the video at YouTube, post comments, etc... as you see fit.
Here's the link:
This newsclip highlights one of the things we at Move America Forward do (just as many other pro-troop organizations engage in) and we want to highlight those efforts and get people to think about the NEED to do these kinds of things.
Done. Wonderful, simply wonderful!
With the holidays coming up we want to make sure that we get Americans to unite behind appreciating the service of our troops.
I'll be sending what I can afford in a small care package (with socks, undershirts, juice boxes, granola bars, etc.) to our troops for Christmas this year.
Thanks for the comments!
That video was perfect and also well-delivered by the news media. How did that happen? Whatever... I’m so glad it did!
FReepers are great at this stuff.
Now, we just need to get the rest of America to reject the negativity of the news media and the hate-mongering of those who protests against the missions of our troops in the streets.
We need millions of Americans to take a few moments this holiday season to do something for our troops. There's SOOOOO many ways to let them know they are cared for, and I know that makes a HUGE difference for the morale and spirits of our troops.
So a thank you to you, and to hopefully millions of other Americans!
Sometimes we at MAF have found that the press in local markets is willing to de-politicize this issue... AS THEY SHOULD!
Notice it was all about the service and sacrifice our troops make and what we can do to show them gratitude and appreciation. No snarky lines talking about things they are doing wrong, or how they shouldn't be there, etc...
