"Kids are kids," said Danielle Kessenger, 39, a mother of three young children from Jacksonville, Fla., who supports providing contraceptives to those who request them.

What she left out was, "And since we never bothered to instill any values whatsoever in our children, we want the government through the schools to do it for us. This way if anything happens we can blame them instead of taking responsibility ourselves"

“Kids are kids,”

This ranks right up there in List of Stupid, Inane Statements. What does it mean? Does she think that if strangers don’t give our kids hormones, they won’t be kids?

Does it mean that we thought kids were somehow adults?

My “kids are kids” too, yet they are principled and discerning, appropriately for their age, actually even more than most their ages, does that mean that they are not kids after all?
Dumb dumb dumb.
