When I was a kid I saw Goulet on Broadway in the original run of Camelot, with Burton and Julie Andrews. A great show.

I remember that while he was starring in Camelot he was married to Carol Lawrence, then starring in West Side Story.

One of my alltime favorites. What a set of pipes. I hear him in my head - very unique voice. This is a loss to mankind, but a plus to God’s Own Heavenly Choir!

Now you’ve made me REALLY JEALOUS. :-) I think I burnt out the grooves on the original Broadway Cast recording of that show when I was a kid.

Sadness at another voice stilled.

Sad. I once worked with his cousin. His name was Aime Goulet, very nice man, gave me a lead on a job back when I quit my job to be with my husband when he was in the service.

Andy Williams is very much alive, kicking and doing his Branson Show gigs. He’s one of the few that didn’t burn himself up by drinking or smoking (like Goulet) or both (like Sinatra and the other Rat Packers).
