And that is the problem with being only a Governor, it is a watered down position, and the best of intentions and policies can flounder on the Rocks of the System.

I would like Jindal to invite the FBI in to audit the entirety of the records of the LA State Govt.

I hear you about the State Level Corruption, I’m from NC, and we have the same thing, it’s so entrenched that the Raleigh Politicos are brazen with their corruption.

You would have to triple the FBI staff to have enough people :) The corruption in Louisiana government is truly breathtaking (as it is in many other states)

I lived a number of years in Florida. Corruption is a part of any institution. Many times more in government than in business. Our Founders wanted limited and weak government. I doubt that more than 5% of even Republicans in office nationwide would do the right thing and vote to eliminate programs outright. I doubt Jindal will propose anything truly sweeping in they way of reigning in government. I wouldn't blame him because he knows the legislature would not stop laughing at him... sad. Socialism is a cancer that will likely bring us to our knees. They is no easy solution.
