good job.

Nice images.

Expose the communists and anarchists by their own words and signs.

My only suggestion, and of course, i’m biased(and rich in the eyes of a demonrat) would be that you need to ditch that Nikon coolpix and get a digital SLR with fast glass. You’ll get ALL the shots and they’ll be crystal clear. Course, at your age I couldn’t have afforded it either...but when I went to DSLR my IQ(image quality) shot up...my low light images went from shaky crap to stunning.

At any rate...you’re more brave than me. I’d be tempted to start hitting people at a rally like that.

When I purchased the Nikon, I did not realize that I was going to use it for such events. In fact, this video serves as my first attempt at editing even. Yet I really enjoyed the experience and will continue capturing such events in the future - check out the UofCRepublicans YouTube Channel for more videos in the future.

I most definitely will take up your advise as well.

The greatest fear I had during the rally pertained to if one of the protesters started burning a US flag. I had decided that if such a disgrace happened, I would try to quench the passion inside of me and just film.

I also had to check my feelings at the beginning of the rally and make “Students for a Democratic Society” proud! Haha!
