I did a search on Matz and found that he was the judge appealed to in the FOA suit concerning TWA 800, in 2004. Curious how these things always go to a clintonoid judge or justice official, where they sink without a trace.
I don’t know what has happened since. I presume Matz is still sitting on it and thus blocking it, but maybe someone can bring me up to date.

The Clinton appointees are there for a purpose - to put into law, by judicial fiat, the garbage legislation from the democrats which they could never get passed the voters.
Everybody whined because the Bush admin didn’t go after Clinton (pres), but there was plenty of reason why all actions were stopped cold - all the judges in the D.C. area were appointed by the Clintons so none of them would accept the cases. I do believe several attempts were made in the beginning but we just couldn’t get any judge to hear the cases. If you think this was accidental .. you haven’t been paying attention.
