I have actually seen this liberal logic.
At the Fish, Wildlife, and Parks office I got some literature on Grizzly bears. Towards the front of the pamphlet it sends not to use guns against bears, "you will just make them mad." Towards the back, it encourages the reader, "If the bear does attack, strike it sharply on the snout to drive it away."
Shooting it will make it mad. Striking it will drive it away. Idiots!
