Here’s anothing thing I came across:

“January 28, 2005

Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee Calls Immigration Reform Legislation Racist, Un-Christian”

http://www.hyscience.com/archives/2005/01/arkansas_govern.php

I get so mad when they play the race card.

"Pretty soon, Southern white guys like me may be in the minority," Huckabee said jokingly as the crowd roared in laughter.

Huckabee promotes 'open door' policy at LULAC convention

Thursday, Jun 30, 2005

By Wesley Brown Arkansas News Bureau

LITTLE ROCK - In a impassioned speech before hundreds of influential Hispanic civil rights leaders from across the nation, Gov. Mike Huckabee told a captive audience Wednesday that America is great because it has always opened it doors up to people seeking a better way of life.

"I would hope that no matter who we are, or where we are from, that America should always be a place that opens its arms, opens it heart, opens its spirit to people who come because they want the best for their families ...," Huckabee said as the largely Hispanic audience gave him a standing ovation.

Huckabee was the keynote speaker, along with Tyson Foods Inc. Chairman and CEO John Tyson, at a noon luncheon of the League of United Latin American Citizens, which is holding its 76th annual convention in Little Rock.

About 10,000 political, community and business leaders, along with exhibitors and speakers are in Little Rock attending the convention at the Statehouse Convention Center. The convention started Monday and runs through Saturday.

Although he never actually talked about the U.S. or Arkansas immigration policy, Huckabee made it very clear where he stood on the issue. In his opening remarks, he said the nation will need to address the concerns of the Hispanic community because of its growing influence and population base.

"Pretty soon, Southern white guys like me may be in the minority," Huckabee said jokingly as the crowd roared in laughter.

He told the LULAC delegates that their presence in the state's capital city was very important because Arkansas has one of the fastest growing Hispanic populations in the nation.

"Your gathering is so very significant for our state," Huckabee said. "We are delighted to have you (criminal invader illegal aliens)"

After watching “The Clinton Chronicles,” and hearing that Huckabee still had lots of Clinton people in his administration - I am adamantly against Huckabee.

We don’t need anymore of that kind of Hope - or another man from Hope.

No thanks!

I see from your tagline that you are for Thompson.

One question: Why did he vote against impeaching Bill Clinton? Why did send cigars to Clinton? I know that may sound silly, but there’s some kind of friendly connection there and Bill Clinton is an evil man.

Thompson is NO GOP savior. He is no Washington outsider.

He’s a lawyer/lobbyist/ex-senator DC insider.

No more Southern good ol’ boys for me.

I watched “The Clinton Chronicles” today and after Bill, GW, and Jimmy Carter - I don’t trust Southerners. Sorry.

That’s just how I feel right now.

But as a matter of fact, who can we trust today?!

Power corrupts.

We the people have to take back control of our government.

Did he , or did he not ,come out in favor of AWB-2 in one of the recent Republican debates ?

I believe he did , and if he did , that completely negates what he did in Mass out of necessity . He’s out of Mass and has not come out in opposition to AWB-2 , which is an absolutley horrible gun ban . True AW’s are already highly regulated .

An answer to this would be greatly appreciated .

Strong National defense , low taxes ,support of the Second Amendment, pro-life ....Thompson seems ok in my book and has walked the walk .....

Who do you recommend that has the creds that Thompson has , that actually stands a chance of beating Hillary ?

Elevated to upper-tier? ROFL - Huckabee barely raised $1 million in the last quarter. The guy's in it to split the socon vote so Rudy's nominated.

Rudy's nominated = 3rd party

Mitt Romney!

I have three requirements for the candidate I will support (a three-legged stool, if you will):

1. Conservative Policies
2. Executive Experience
3. A Proven Track Record of Success

The only candidate that has all three is Mitt Romney!

P.S. And thanks for asking!

Any support from the MSM is literally the "kiss of death" for any Republican hopeful.

Sorry, Mr. Huckabee...no thanks.
