thanks. the canard, that we should allow rudy to be defined by who his enemies are, is one of the lamest in the rudybot arsenal, but we hear it continually.

Rudy was tough on crime. Fine. (So was Stalin)

But that is not what the article was about. It is about Rudy’s testimony about his terrorism knowledge which directly conflicts with the claims he is making on the campaign trail. His experience comes from reading a couple books and being coached by campaign consultants.

Bottom line: he lies (again).

The Media Matters crowd would love nothing more to see Republicans attacking each other especially when we end up using their distorted 9/11 talking points.

It doesn't really matter that their target is Rudy for the moment. It really could be any of our GOP candidates being attacked except for Ron Paul because he is already on their side.

That is exactly right. However, the myopia and out of balance hatred that many display here towards some candidates is just outright stupid. A total violation of Reagan's 11th Commandmant.

Oh, I got your point, and you are wrong.

No you didn't. Because I was talking about what could happen in the future, if conservatives took the right steps today. Neither of us know the future, so I can't possibly be "wrong" about it.

Just to clarify

Ron Paul was an early supporter of Ronald Reagan but that all changed when Reagan drove the Soviet Union out of business by outspending them. Ron Paul was a major opponent of Reagans financial deficit that has now helped end the cold war.

Considering his stance on outspending the USSR and now fighting the war on terrorism along with his looney views on the War on Drugs its safe to exclude Ron Paul from the 11th Commandment The 11th Commandment should only apply to Republicans.

I agree. I've argued against bashing Guiliani, primarily for the same logic as Reagan's 11th commandment, it damages all of us. I believe in the last debate Ron Paul was specifically asked if he would support the Republican nominee and refused to answer. Obviously he's a fake Republican, so the 11th commandment doesn't apply to him.
