Sadly, my mother and stepfather will vote for Hilary. They are WWII generation Democrats in denial about who really runs that Godless, corrupt party.
My 80 year old mom is sympatico with the whole Betty Friedan FemiNazi juggernaut, thinks if it wasn’t for feminists, the country would immediately resort to women losing voting rights, becoming property and chattel of men. Seriously. Mom is just glassy-eyed with ecstasy at the thought of a “first woman president.”
Mom and stepdad are in deep denial about the Clintons. They say “Everybody does it” re: politicians being corrupt, womanizing, etc. To which I say, “No mom, everybody doesw’t do it. Maybe everyone YOU know does it.” The conversation usually ends at that point. LOL
