Sheriff's Lt. Rosie Enriquez chats with day laborers at 47th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. She believes a day labor center could help cut crime by getting job seekers off the streets. Florence Low / flow@sacbee.com
Sacramento day laborers who gather in a parking lot at 47th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in hopes of getting work, cluster around a motorist who stops to hire someone
Lt. Rosie Enriquez sat in a parking lot in her unmarked cruiser, looking out at a small sea of about 50 men waiting for the promise of work to arrive.
Within minutes, a pickup loaded with six large fence posts turned into the gas station at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 47th Avenue. The men rushed the truck, and two with the sharpest elbows hopped in and drove off, past strip malls in south Sacramento.
Enriquez stepped from her own car, and the men crowded around her. "Buenos días, muchachos. Hay mucho trabajo?" the uniformed Sacramento County Sheriff's Department lieutenant said. "Good morning, boys. Much work?"

Sheriff’s Lt. Rosie Enriquez:
PICKING AND CHOOSING WHICH LAWS TO ENFORCE
So would deporting these criminals. Instead of sitting on her fat @ss in her car and watching them commit crimes, Perhaps she should do her job and arrest them for committing those crimes. Then, perhaps, if the rest of the system would get of it's fat @sses, these felons will be photographed, finger printed, and deported.
BUMP!
SHOVE IT CA; No more $money$$ for illigals..!
PICKING AND CHOOSING WHICH LAWS TO ENFORCE
Needs to have her fat ass fired, they must not have any physical requirements at that department other than the weekly donut eating contest.
I'm afraid most hispanics are hispanic first and American second. It never used to be that way, way back.

The Town of Herndon in northern Virginia with a far-left Town Council and Mayor deep in the hip pocket of the Chamber of Commerce and the illegal alien advocates tried the taxpayer-funded official day labor site route.
The town rose up and threw them all out of office and the new guys closed the day labor site down after some far left judge said they could not enforce anti-solicitation laws. The Washington Post here in DC and others predicted “Chaos in the streets of Herndon” with the site shut down.
Instead, the opposite happened. There is no day labor site. There is a small gathering of day laborers trying to get work, but most of the law breaking employers are staying away. And the rest of the streets of Herndon are pretty much cleared of illegals just loitering around.
Attrition by Enforcement works. One of the newest signs around the town is piles of mattresses in dumpters as the illegals move on. Cars are being sold and converted to cash, a great indicator that the illegals are going back home.
There is a lesson here for the rest of the country. Enforce the laws and the problem will go away. You don’t have to round up 40 million illegals (the real number)- they will leave by themselves when you stop facilitating and funding their presence. The roads back to the border go both ways.
For politicians, defending our borders and stamping out illegal alien invasions is a winning proposition.
I RICOmend they cease and desist.
No problemo....if they were legal.
There's no hope here when it comes to the battle against the illegal alien invasion. There's no sense in even getting upset. This IS the capital of California after all...and it's as loony as it gets.

Pathetic...

She believes a day labor center could help cut crime by getting job seekers off the streets.
So she admits they are commiting crimes but decided to facilitate them instead.

QUISLING: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.
Current federal law 8USC 1373(a) PROHIBITS SANCTUARY CITIES. It reads as follows:
"Notwithstanding any other provision of federal, state, or local law, a federal, state, or local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual."
I think the Herndon officials should go on some kind of "road show" in the USA and show what they did, and develop this as a template, because the NYT, the WashPost, and the LATimes certainly is NOT going to get their story out. Their story of SUCCESS.
