Evacuations raise deportation fears (Open borders Media Alert)

SAN DIEGO -- Flames were only one worry for some illegal immigrants in the fire zone. Equally scary were the crowded roads and evacuation centers, heavy with law enforcement officers, including U.S. Border Patrol agents.

Some wondered if they would be deported if they went to shelters.

"We decided that we wouldn't go because they ask for your name and everything," said day laborer Jose Salgado, waiting for work off the 5 Freeway near Rancho Santa Fe.

SNIP

(San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders)

The mayor, he said, has always looked out for the needs of the migrant community and has tried to protect them from encounters with Minutemen and other groups that oppose illegal immigration.

At least half the stories related to these fires are about how badly they affect the illegal immigrants (or undocumented migrants, or whatever).

They are the only people who have no property to lose in these fires, and no real roots to the community that prevent them from going to where the fires aren't. Like their home country.

They are among the least affected, but enjoy the most weepy media coverage.

“protect them from .....Minutemen....”
Which Minutemen are these? Are they the same Minutemen who have a non-contact policy with regard to illegals? Or are they the ones who constantly harass, beat up and kill the illegals?
(sarcasm)

By the time they reach mid career, most reporters know how to write one or two stories. The “Sunday Weeper” piece is one of them.

Oh Boo Hoo! Poor little Illegal alien can't scam free stuff from the shelter, because real Americans, who's needs are the reason these shelters exist to serve in an emergency, are using them...
Boo Hoo!

Skidaddle back to your own country, Jose Salgado (if that is even your name) and go to the Mexican Human rights office and complain. I'm sure they'll fix you up with a free room and welfare check.

I'm always filled with uncontrollable grief when I read stories about illegals being deported.

They are among the least affected, but enjoy the most weepy media coverage.

More weepy coverage:

The Border Patrol Agents "in their distinct green uniforms" were there to provide support to other agencies. Their mere presence was enough "to scare off some immigrants."

"Critics say local and federal officials should be more sensitive to how immigrants [ILLEGAL ALENS] might perceive things."

Looks like this mayor is not fit to hold any pubic office in this country.

I like a catch and release policy. As long as they are released south of the border.
Catch and release is the humane way to fish for illegals.

Gee humblegunner, how could you make such a glaring error? You either have have to change the slang or send them to Great Britain. LOL! In this case it is criminal “culo”.
