Just for grins and giggles, let's look once again at the 'offensive' post #12 when BlackElk said:

Run Paulie is no pro-life champion but a two-faced libertarian phony. He tells pro-lifers that he is pro-life and files bills to ban all abortions (which, along with the rest of his bills, are NEVER pursued but are mere photo ops).

This would appear to be accurate. I am not aware of any bills filed by Ron Paul with the intention of banning abortions that made it out of the House and sent to the Senate, and the fact that abortions are still freely available on demand would seem to validate that.

SIMULTANEOUSLY, he assures the pro-aborts (many of whom are atheist libertarians) that he does not see federal jurisdiction to end abortion.

The only thing you need to do BlackElk, is to come up with a quote or citation where Ron Paul has expressed such a viewpoint about there not being a federal role in ending abortion. Based on Paul's well known desire to cut, slash and burn the federal government until it's about the size of the government under President Franklin Pierce, finding a quote or reference for this ought to be easy for you BlackElk.

PaleoPaulie is effectively [emphasis mine, mkj] a pro-abort who will refuse to get ANYTHING done to end abortion. Just one more instance of Dr. Demento viewing the constitution as a crippling document preventing us from doing what is right to end the American Holocaust. He is a fake, a phony and a fraud.

That word "effectively" is the defining word. BlackElk has not lied about Ron Paul at all, he has pointed out that because of Paul's views on limited government, that a Ron Paul Presidency would most likely do nothing to end abortion in America, and while he might use the illustrious 'bully pulpit' to condemn abortion and to discourage Americans from considering such murderous acts, that and a couple of bucks will get you a cup o' coffee and maybe a small donut at your local Denny's.

In this area, Ron Paul's views are basically what we hear out of Rudy-Tooty, that he is "personally opposed" to abortion, but he isn't going to do anything about it.

The post (#12) should stand as it is.

It's a state decision!!! It's scary how clueless you people are on the Constitution.
