...a hug. It always maes me a bit uneasy...

It's not that you personally object to a kid's hug; rather the threats created by the mind-warped advocates of political correctness. Am I right?

The majority of people who work with kids today don't want to risk a lawsuit or job loss over a hug. As long as people with some common sense keep quiet, the crazies will rule.

Yes, its the other adults that I worry about, not the kid. (It warms the bottom of my heart that some kid other than my own feels comfortable enough to give me a hug!) But as I said, that’s tough if someone were to object.

Unless it was the child’s parent I would respect their wishes on that. But I doubt that would happen as I know all the parents too. And I’m not sure what I could do about it, its almost always the child that initiates the hug.
