Only one man can do that: Duncan Hunter.Hunter is a good man and a good conservative but I am baffled by the willingness of people to ignore the fact that he is not a vote-getter. He's been confined to a single congressional district his whole career. After all these months on the presidential trail, his numbers are going nowhere. How does anyone see him winning a national election? I would love a President Hunter. I would also love $5 a barrel oil. But then there's reality.
I see you’ve had no replies from the HunterHeads, so I’ll remark on your good post.
I don’t understand the blind loyalty to a single-digit candidate either. We can all wish the entire country was made up of conservatives but wishing doesn’t make it so. As you say, “but then there’s reality”.
Yet we are supposed to throw our support and votes to a man who most people in America have never heard of and can’t break 4% in ANY poll.
I simply won’t hang my hat on 4%.
