Clinton Uses Birthday to Raise Funds

NEW YORK - Friends, family and supporters celebrated Hillary Rodham Clinton's 60th birthday Thursday night with a star-studded fundraiser that bridged generations.

Comedian Billy Crystal and rockers Elvis Costello and the Wallflowers headlined the event at New York's historic Beacon Theater, which raked in more than $1.5 million for Clinton's presidential bid.

Former President Clinton and daughter Chelsea joined the New York senator onstage to thank supporters, who had donated as much as $2,300 apiece to attend. Hillary Clinton's mother, Dorothy Rodham, and brother, Tony Rodham, looked on from the audience.

I think this was one of her Hollywood left fundraising events, the illegal donors weren't at this one. But since when has Hillary Clinton cared about male attention?

Glad you enjoyed that. When I was in college in the mid 90s there was a local punk band playing the clubs called Urethra Franklin.

So I can’t take full credit... :)

Yes, she had a BIG party and raised money for herself while President Bush walked amid the smoldering ruins and promised money to other people for their suffering. Typical.
