Boiled nuts are the most disgusting thing I’ve eaten. I was in MS several years back and somebody got me to try them. I had to spit them out they were so gross.

Mushy or whta? Maybe microwaving a chunky peanut butter sandwich real good and then adding some jelly to it will work instead.. I’ll try an experiment or two.. ;-)

I’s a good thing I added (Peanuts) at the end of the title or this thread would already be yanked. I like cashew chicken, why not sauteed peanuts instead.

Worked for Lillian too,
Billy should have had more peanuts, less beer.

We frequently use a scoop of peanuts when stir-fying in the wok. They add a pleasant crunch to the meal.

Sorry, but if I have to get my nuts boiled to stay well, I’d just as soon get sick, thanks.

How I love boiled peanuts. I would never attempt to prepare my own, though. I use to have cans shipped up from Albany, GA, along with White Acre Peas. Yum yum.

You can order them online from the Lee Brothers in Charleston ~ www.boiledpeanuts.com
Might as well order their cookbook too - even if you're not a cook.

Our local wok house probably has them on the menu or in some dishes, I’ll have to check next time.

Thanks for the web site on where to buy boiled peanuts. They are not sold in New Jersey where I am. Garden Staters don’t know what they’re missing!
