Buy me a beer (if you can afford it) and I'll tell ya all about it. ;-)

Emergency Ping!
Oh, the Huge Manatee!
Doomed!
NO!!!
But think what the high pound and Euro have done to fine English ales and Belgian beers.
St. Peter’s Golden Ale has just hit $5.50 a bottle.
When beer is outlawed....then I’ll just have to go back to my MD 20/20 days.
Time to brew your own!
The odd thing is, last Saturday I went to the brew store to get ingredients for brewing, and although I expected to pay more, everything was the same price I’ve been paying for several years. $0.90/lb for two-row malted barley, $1.19/lb for domestic specialty grains, $1.79/lb for imported specialty grains, and $2.50 per 2 oz. package of loose hops.
It may just be that they make so much margin on us homebrewers that they haven’t had to adjust anything yet.
In about 6 years look for a rise in bourbon prices as current whiskey aging in barrels is used up and new whiskey made with now high price corn replaces it.
Most guys go the gym to work on a six-pack. I go to the fridge to work on a pony-keg.
IT's A CRIME. Anyone who buys that crap twice is stupid.
Brew your own! It's well worth the effort once you get the hang of it. You can make beers just as tasty as those you pay a premium for from micro breweries, and much better than the 'factory beer' that the mass producers make.
Same price, less tasting...

(inflation on the price of meat, bread and produce...big deal...
but when beer prices rocket out of sight...that’s the basis for
a revolution in the streets!!!!)
