“The Iraqis came up with a concept of a Unity Day parade. Never in my wildest imagination did I ever think Ramadi would host a parade which would be led with a band playing and then also young Iraqi Boy Scouts marching with flags, young Iraqi Girl Scouts marching with flags, ...

The ACLU would throw a fit if this was in the United States.

I saw some video of this parade the other day on FoxNews. It was almost too good to believe, but there it was.

As more and more cities come on board with this, the nation is going to settle down and take over it’s own destiny.

The terrorists have lost a foothold. Osama Bin Ladin, is shaking in his boots.

Iraqis are openly criticizing him now.

So much for this being an impossible task.

Try this in South Central LA, San Francisco, Phila. or D.C.
The casualty tolls would be horrible, and that would be just of the paraders.

Now if only Americans would realize what a good job our troops have done and what the good Iraqi citizens are trying to do too, to save their country.

Those Iraqi youth that flashed quickly across the screen near the end of the video, all smiles, were Iraqi Boy Scouts.

This is cool. It’s just about time guys will start getting married to Iraqi women. As happens everywhere else in peacetime. It’s time to reduce our presence there. A bored military will create trouble, stunts and pranks. And annoy local people. Plan it well, though.

I’m not down on you guys!? You have achieved an honorable success!! Everybody is mad at AQ now. I was just saying that in time, you guys will find sweethearts there and get married. DO IT! I got cold feet with a very nice Spanish sweetheart when I was based in Spain. That was my biggest mistake while AD.
