House arrest is perfect. Now we can send one 500-pound JDAM right through the middle of that home. It would be a very easy mission.

But a Yemeni government official who asked not to be identified said the militant remained "under close scrutiny and control of the security forces."So, does that simply mean that he will be closely supervised when he does the planning or actually perpetrates his next act of terror?

He can spend the rest of his (hopefully short) life looking over his shoulder for a Predator-launched HellFire missile.

My guess is that this terrorist scum is not long for this world, one way or the other, whatever deal he may have cut with the Yemeni government.

["Badawi, whose death sentence had been commuted to 15 years in prison, is one of 23 inmates who escaped from a jail in the Yemeni capital Sanaa. He turned himself in about two weeks ago. "]
So, he was sentenced to death, which was commuted to 15 years in prison, and now reduced to house arrest? Soon to be five minutes in "the comfy chair"?
I thought Johnny Cochran was dead.
