Bill Clinton addressed a crowd in Minneapolis, Minnesota at a fundraiser for his wife's campaign on Tuesday.
Clinton's 50-minute speech, which started about an hour behind schedule, was derailed briefly by several hecklers in the audience who shouted that the 2001 terrorist attacks were a fraud. Rather than ignoring them, Clinton seemed to relish a direct confrontation.
"A fraud? No, it wasn't a fraud," Clinton said, as the crowd cheered him on. "I'll be glad to talk to you if you shut up and let me talk."
When another heckler shouted that the attacks were an "inside job," Clinton took even greater umbrage.
"An inside job? How dare you. How dare you. It was not an inside job," Clinton said. "You guys have got to be careful, you're going to give Minnesota a bad reputation."
LOL! They should hand you a blue ribbon for that one.
Should have read “liberals” and “minds” although it’s dang near impossible to think of the 2 words actually being in the same sentence.
The truthers also believe that....
...Al Gore Junior won in 2000.
...John Kerry won in 2004.
...man is causing global warming.
...man can counteract the effects of global warming.
...it is better to live under socialism than to live as a free man.
Just wait until he claims he has cancer and gets Hillary the sympathy vote.
And GWB killed Paul Wellstone and JFK. And now they believe Blackwater set the California fires.
Right. To clarify his position, Bill Maher doesn’t believe that the 9-11 attacks were an inside job. Bill believes that the 9-11 attackers were braver men than our troops because they were men of action who gave their lives for a cause they believed in while our boys push a button from a plane over a city like “cowards”.
That and having to buy cigars that have a $10 added tax on each one. Bet that’ll cut down on the blue dresses.
Bill Clinton was a truther when it came to his conspiracy theory about a non-existent racist rash of Southern church fires.
“You guys have got to be careful, you’re going to give Minnesota a bad reputation.”
Too late.
Thats why I detest him......
He is the main reason I do not have HBO in my house. I refuse to pay his salary.
....but he did handle the truther well ~ and he wasn’t feel-goody polite about it either.
The Truthers are far too whacked-out to make deals with anyone.
I joined the “Loose Change” forum, and the level of discourse there is 10th grade slacker. It’s so lame and utterly stupid that it doesn’t even quicken the pulse or impel you to respond.
And of course the “movement” hinges on a campaign of transparent propaganda contrived by a high school student who fancies himself the intellectual equal of trained graduate and Phd scientists and engineers.
On a general stupidity scale, the ranking is something like this (selectively stupid to stupid as a box of rocks stupid, reading down):
Gorons
True Rats
Huffenpuffers
Code Pinkos
Moveon
DUmmies
Truthers
Clinton knows it wasn’t an inside job. I don’t like this man, and I do believe many things he did in office harmed this country some in traitorous ways... but even he knows that we were attacked by a calculating and evil enemy on 9/11. One sadly he ignored for 8 years and allowed to fester and grow.
Even a impeached, degenerate, raping, coke head, lying sack of s*it like Bill Clinton knows that the truthers are out of their mind and hurting the political process, especially the dems.
Even in general the more these nut cases are heard the more it makes the ignorant masses think were there is smoke, there is fire.
You know if a pubbie had said that, the media would lead with “Republicans stifling dessent” or “Republican against free speech” or some other nonsense.
Seeing logical patterns in a sequence of random events or stimuli is a precursor to schizophrenia.
No /sarc, no joke.
I don’t like the Klintoons, but even 2x a day a broken clock is right.
Good for BillyBoy for shooting down these damned-fool idiot assholes.
He had the FBI resources used in the late 1990s hunting for non-existent racist arsonists.
9-11 was a result of his refusal to admit that there were more dangerous people in the United States than “anti-government right wingers”.
There was a coverup conspiracy related to 9-11. What it was, we will never know until someone on the inside talks.
