Newt was already "in charge" when he assumed House leadership, then proceeded to sell his newly elected conservatives, down the river with the go-along to get-along Senate!

None of those guys and gals trust him anymore, why should we/

Newt essentially abandoned his long time wife while she was battling cancer in the hospital. He’s a “skirt chaser” as well. These things alone make me wonder what his “cut of” is for abandoning us and his principles. I wonder what makes him think we would or should trust him at all?
