I’m not putting on a Slave Rag just to be polite, and I don’t like seeing the first lady in one. Why did they give her the swaddle, if they weren’t trying to get a photo op?
If putting it partially on her head for a photo op at a gift ceremony is “wearing it”, when she immediately took it off and was seen at much more “telling” events - such as in the presence of the leading men of the House of Saud - NOT WEARING ONE, where is the impression she left behind her upon leaving there that she has submitted to Sharia Law???
Photo or not, anyone, Muslim or not, who thinks that doing what she did for a momentary ceremonial photo op was a submission to Sharia Law is too stupid to be redeemable. Do you submit to Sharia for a few seconds (assuming she did, but she didn’t), and then live your life otherwise but somehow stay stuck in submission??
Notice she does not even pretend to COVER herself. Just kind of rests it up there at the crown of her head, leaving plenty showing. That’s not Sharia. Look at those around her. She knew perfectly well what she was doing.
I don’t agree with her on everything, I’m sure, just as I don’t with anyone, but she is far from a clueless woman. She DOES have a clue and she is very classy.
