This seems to show a misunderstanding of the theories of natural selection, and evolution. The "chin recession" can only happen if the large-chinned humans are at a disadvantage, i.e., being denied the privileges of reproduction, or are killed by something in connection with those normal-to-large chins.

Genes are more complex than that. A small chin may be connected with something else...like less testosterone, stronger immune system, etc. In that case, a small chin might be advantageous in a modern environment.
